What do I need to get a document notarized?

  1. Every signer must physically appear via Remotely or in person, be coherent, and have current acceptable ID at the time of notarization.

  2. COMPLETELY FILL IN ALL BLANK SPACES IN DOCUMENT before the notary arrives.

  3. DO NOT SIGN document until you are in the presence of the notary.

What is acceptable identification?

  1. State Driver’s License/State ID

  2. State Visa/Green Card

  3. U.S. Military ID card

  4. U.S. Passport• Foreign Passports

  5. Inmate ID card**** All identification Cards must be within 3 years of expiration

Do I need to make an appointment in advance?

Yes, scheduling appointments are essential in order to ensure the notarization is executed smoothly, efficiently, and conveniently. We ask for at least a 3 hour window to ensure the best service.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Yes, we offer evening and weekend services. In addition, we are able to provide services outside of our normal business hours on a case by case basis for clients who may have unusual circumstances for an additional fee.

What is needed for the Remote Online Notarizations Process ?

What is the Refund Policy

Refund Policy

At NYC Notary Services, we strive to provide exceptional notary services to our clients. Due to the nature of our services, once a notarization is completed, refunds cannot be issued. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Therefore, we have established the following guidelines:

Cancellation and Rescheduling Cancellation: If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within this timeframe will be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may not be eligible for a refund.

Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment without penalty if done at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

No-Show Policy: Clients who do not show up for their scheduled appointment without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund. Exceptions In certain situations, such as emergencies or technical difficulties during virtual notarizations, exceptions to this policy may be made at the discretion of NYC Notary Services.
